Origin Story
Independent Property Management in the Greater Seattle Area
Bothell Landing Rentals, LLC is a family owned and operated company since 2019
Elizabeth and Michael met while they were both attending the University of Washington for Physics graduate school. After receiving their PhDs, Elizabeth in Biophysics (DNA Sequencing) and Michael in Astrophysics (Dark Matter), they started working as scientists for local technology companies in the Greater Seattle Area.
In 2019, Elizabeth transitioned from R&D scientist to Data Scientist at Microsoft. At that time, Elizabeth and Michael decided to start a small side business. They founded Bothell Landing Rentals and began managing a townhouse in Bothell WA.
Bothell Landing Rentals continued to expand, taking over management of additional townhomes in Bothell and Seattle (Fremont). In 2023, they acquired their most challenging, and rewarding, property; a (nearly) 100 year old apartment building in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.
At that time, Elizabeth took a step away from science to focus on Bothell Landing Rentals and ensuring its properties and service were maintained at a high standard. Michael continues to work as a scientist but can often be found helping at the properties on evenings or weekends.
